Oil and Gas Job Vacancies was launched in to provide a niche job site for SMEs offering an economical service for job postings in the marketplace. The site has been launched to respond to the global demand for skilled professionals in the petrochemical, oil and gas industries.
MD Frank Cullen formally a Document and Information Manager who has 20 years experience in the industry has launched the site with Bev McGuckin the Sales Manager to cater for Small to Medium sized recruiters and employers. Bev has a wealth of experience in the sales and marketing arena coupled with online sales media experience.
OilandGasJobVacancies.com is part of the Job Vacancy Guide.com Group, established in March 2007 to provide niche industry job sites. Future niche job sites will be launched in the coming months based on our fully functional content management system. This was developed between March and October of 2007. Investors are welcome to contact JVG to discuss our plans and proposals for our new sites. Progress is going well and we hope to launch our second site in May of 2008, followed by our third in August. Cross site advertising will be available on all sites for all vacancies should they have the applicable content. We will provide one contract for three job site’s which will give the recruiters transparent access to all.
The site brings as standard a job applicant tracking views and applications, email job vacancies opt in, CV upload and browsing functions along with featured and corporate recruitment sections plus a lot more. For employees we have a featured profile section free of charge for all applicants seeking immediate work. Standard packages can be purchased for 3, 6, 9 or 12 months with unlimited job advertisements throughout the term. CV search is standard with all packages.
All employers and recruiters can manage their adverts from the content management system, you decide what is published, edited or deleted, this way you can manage your own requirements during your recruitment drives at no extra cost.
The site is networked with Broadbean using their aplitrak system for a more productive process. JVG also provides an input job ad service at no cost to the recruiter/employers.
We currently have some major advertising projects ongoing including a Search Engine Optimization Project with a top ten service provider, investment in PPC, traditional and online media campaigns, along with a 4 week radio advertisement in March with a well known sports radio channel. Targeted marketing campaigns are ongoing to increase the quantity of CVs for the database. Our database currently holds over 1,500 live job vacancies.
You can see from our site that we have adopted the KIS (Keep it Simple) principle, and our site does just that. The site was designed with our employees and employers in mind and our categories reflect the main stream disciplines within the industry at present. Additional Categories can be added on request.
